INNER THIGH LIFT

The procedure performed varies according to the degree of deformity. It is generally combined with liposuction. Scars are concealed within the groin line or inside the leg, again depending on degree of deformity.
The operation is performed under local or general anesthesia, and lasts 1-2.5 hours, depending on deformity. Length of hospital stay is a few hours or overnight. The patient can return to work or travel by air 3-5 days after surgery.
The upper legs lose their tension for reasons such as weight loss and gain, ageing or giving birth, resulting in sagging and looseness in the upper thighs. If this sagging and looseness is advanced, then thigh lift surgery is performed.

The operation is generally performed under general anesthesia with other procedures, but can also be done under local anesthesia. Activity has to be restricted for 2-3 weeks after surgery.
The scars resulting from the operation in the groin region are significant. Although they are generally made in such a way as to remain hidden inside a swimming costume or bikini, then can descend a few centimeters under the effect of gravity.

Skin and fat tissues are extracted through an elliptical incision running backward from the groin region. The tissues are then brought together again and sutured. Since the suture line is in the groin area, which is naturally exposed to moisture and contamination, wound healing problems can occur. Care and treatment after surgery is as important as deciding on surgery in the first place. There is no need to remove the sutures since biodegradable materials are used.
